A captivating program featuring music by living composers that explores the human condition, including Jessie Montgomery's Hymn for Everyone, the orchestra world premiere of Hope Salmonson's Tuba Concerto Considerations on a Moonlit Lake, with soloist Steph Frye-Clark, and Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living performed by Voices of the Mountains, Mountain Empire Children's Choral Academy Highlands Youth Ensemble, and Virginia Highlands Community College Concert Choir.
